Has anyone heard about Minister Laghari quitting/resigning/being booted out of MITT?
Trying to come up with his contribution to the IT scene--cant think of any. Maybe I'm too cynical.

This group blog is aggregating supposedly insightful comments on Pakistani Internet and IT issues. Authors are human (so do expect errors) and are mostly based in Pakistan (which means that the comments and reporting is done from the 'battle-field'). It is only incidental that a good number of contributors to this blog also happened to contribute for the magazine SPIDER which brought them together in the first place.

That's a good news. We don't want waderas and every dick and harry to make such hi-tech decisions too. So, no, you are not cynical :)
u have a point. i cant understand why the prime minister appointed a moron as the minister of IT or telecom or whatever. he should have shaken things around instead of setting things off back to the dark ages. Pakistan is the only country in South Asia without affordable broadband access.(with his policies we would be lucky if we got affordable broadband by the year 2010). my friend pays 1200 bucks for dsl in chennai. (there is no limit to the amount of data u can download). i think leghari is out coz the cabinet has been dissolved. in that case bring out the bubbly. (dont know much about the current events coz i am in Singapore).
