Blogs on any topic under the sun have created millions of online communities. Those who have blogs read other’s blogs for ideas or simply to reciprocate – that is how bloggy fraternity is proliferating. The problem is with the overwhelming majority of Web users that don’t have blogs yet. They don’t visit the blog sites at all, exceptions and chance apart. Those who don’t write the blogs, don’t read the blogs

The problem is with the overwhelming majority of Web users that don’t have blogs yet. They don’t visit the blog sites at all, exceptions and chance apart. Which is why blogosphere is smaller than the entire users’ base, though it is thriving, nonetheless? Solution: Every user should have a blog, more so in Pakistan.

Solution: blog intresting things rather than sermons about blogging itself.
Agreed Mr. Shirazi. However, blogs are only written by those who are interested into reading/writing. How many such people could be found?
If the majority of urban Pakistanis who have access to the computer take to such creative stuff (instead of only chatting and trying to hook up with the opposite sex), we would have a much better literacy rate.
Blog for every pakistani - that being too wishful - internet access i feel still remains an item of luxury for a select few.
I have seen most internet surfing in Pakistan limited only to girl-chatting or porn surfin. It will take time for Blogging to become a part of daily life in Pakistan.
I too like Shirazi. do indeed see a bright future for blogs and with this limited pakistani blog brotherhood/sisterhood we together need to slowly spread the word, we may have started off small but we can surely consider oursleves pioneers of blogging pakistan

Firstly to aware people what blog is, all most and easiest media reachable sources ( magazines like Spider, e-zines, computer Tv Shows like ClickOnline of BBCWORLD, disscussion groups, etc) should take this is as an Mission, .....b'coz when people encounter a thing which is glitering in crowd.....(magazines) people will try to find out themselves wht it is, is it for them, ...........
Thats wht make me dive into blogging world, even now many people dont know wht it is....
EXAMPLE.........
Once with a friend we were tired of listening the intresting views of Organinc chemistry......one of our colleague.........as soon as he left us i muttered to my friend....that " Why dont he just launched a Blog!" (to introduce his Intresting views to a majority instead of dead ends like us....) In reply, my friend said "got confused......"
Later in canteen he asked me wht does BLOG means, as he didnt get in dictionary, then i provided him a Spider issue along with.....some ScienceTech(http://dawn.com/science/) hard copy issue...........
with some intresting blogs...and now he is running a very testimonal blog....
